On Saturday 20th January, we were pleased to welcome prospective minister Steph Atkins to our church when she came to ‘preach with a view’ for the Missional Partnership. It was an excellent service, attended by around 50 people from other MP churches who joined us in person or on Zoom to hear Steph lead worship. Afterwards, Steph and her husband Jim had an opportunity to chat to everyone over tea and cake in the hall, bringing an afternoon of worship and fellowship to a successful close. Steph preached again the next day at Bramhall and over the following week we held three United Church Meetings where 138 people voted 100% in favour of Steph becoming our next Missional Partnership minister. We’re delighted that she has accepted our call to serve alongside Pastor K and we look forward to her joining our Missional Partnership later in the year. Thanks to everyone who helped in any way to support the ‘preach with a view’ service and for providing such a warm welcome to our visitors and friends.
